The challenge.

To succeed in the 21st century, young people must have global competence, a capacity that includes knowledge about diverse cultures around the world, empathetic and collaborative interpersonal skills, and respectful, open-minded attitudes shaped by learning and experience.

The problem.

The world needs global citizens to solve our global problems. Most schools, however, are failing to teach students global perspectives –from basic geography to a deeper understanding or even curiosity about people who live in different places or have different cultural backgrounds.

The solution.

World Wise brings an innovative approach to global education. With cross-cultural connections forged through compelling immersive stories and interactive learning experiences, we celebrate the diversity of the planet and commonalities that connect us all.

World Wise Goals

  • Build Global Competence by introducing diverse ways of being in the world through immersive VR stories, interdisciplinary curricula and interactive games.

  • Foster empathy and diminish the sense of “other” by facilitating the discovery of commonalities with other species and with people from different cultures, races and environments.

  • Provide meaningful connections and experiences that strengthen respect for the human and non-human beings with whom we share the planet.

  • Raise awareness of critical cultural, social and environmental issues.

  • Inspire engagement with causes related to environmental sustainability, wildlife conservation, human rights and social justice.
